i’ve given banglr as my 1st preference of posting.. and hyd as 2nd option..though i hate hyd :-X… but i heard ppl wil mostly be given posting at their 2nd preference option 😦 is this true :(:( ???
The first thing I’ll say is “Calm Down!!” 😀 Do not listen to things that only TCS knows and others don’t! If you have Bangalore as your 1st preference, chances are high that you’ll get Bangalore!! Coz most people do! Kolkata was my 1st preference, Bangalore was my 2nd preference and Hyderabad was my 3rd preference. I didn’t get Kolkata coz none of the JAVA trainees get Kolkata! I got Bangalore and not Hyderabad. You might get Hyderabad if the chances are low but I can assure you that getting Bangalore has higher chances (my friends with Bangalore as 1st preference got it!). You should also know that you can get a location which might not be any of your location preferences. So don’t worry and get prepared for ILP. To give you hope, even if you get Hyderabad, you can always transfer yourself to Bangalore before getting a project! 🙂
Hey .. My ILP starts on 26th Dec.. N iv filled my 1st preference as Pune, which I absolutely dont want now and I want my 2nd preference Banglore. Is there anyway to change the preferences before joining ILP so that i get Banglore ??
Not until you have valid reasons for a transfer. After joining in Pune, maybe you can find a swap partner who wants to come to Pune from Bangalore. There’ll be lots 🙂
If im in the top 10% of the PAT scorers, do i get to choose my location?
Well…it might be a new incentive…we were told the same thing..my PAT was very good and I didn’t the location of my choice 😛 nor did I see any good student getting his/her choicest location.
hey is it possible to do that? to get that transfer? 🙂 i heard that unless you have sick parents or spouse in that other city you can’t get transfer before 2 years? 🙂

I’m joining TCS Trivandrum for my ILP training on jul 23rd.. i have no idea how i’m going to cope up as i know no one there n none of my friends r posted there….not sure if i’ll be provided accomodations .. wat goes on d 1st day there n howz d place??
You are lucky to have Trivandrum as your ILP center! It’s a nice place! I’m sorry to know that none of your friends are going there but you’ll make many new friends during ILP! 😀 Your accommodation details will be mailed to you a week before your joining. You can check in to your hostel two days before your joining! 🙂 The first day is very boring and long as you’ll have to submit your documents, be seated in the auditorium for various lectures and sessions! The first two or three days will be auditorium sessions. Note that you’ll have your PAT test on the 2nd/3rd day of joining. Learn and master a programming language like JAVA/C++/Dot Net. You can start studying the subjects in Aspire as it is supposed to prepare you for your ILP as well as ace the PAT exam.
please re-upload the first download link i.e. ASPIRE QUIZZES WITH ANSWERS .Because after download it is showing that ” the file is corrupt”.

hello….:) i got my ILP in trivandrum…i gave the posting preference as chennai…..But many were telling like if we get ILP in trivandrum we ll b scattered everywere in India 😦 Im very much worried…PLS help…And i have one more question!!!!! when will we be informed about the posting location????? Is it beginning of ILP or at the end????
Scattered everywhere in India? 😐 your posting will depend on the requirements, technology used and resources in the places of preference you gave. None of your preferences have any connection with where you’ll have your ILP! You might get any one of your preference depending on where there are projects or where resources are needed. That means, you may have any one of the 3 locations or something different! You should have yourself mentally prepared for that! You’ll be informed of your posting location on the same day after the PAT exam (ie. 2nd or 3rd day of ILP).

Hi there!! Have lots of doubts to be cleared n I hope I have contacted the best person for this purpose 🙂 My ILP is scheduled to start in September in Ahmedabad.
Doubts:
1. Can u give some idea regarding the training there n if not can u plzz give me a link of any of ur friends who had there training there??
2. M very much worried regarding the ACCOMMODATION there. Is it possible to get a single A.C. room or a good P.G. there?? n if not what type of rooms r available there?? A.C. or non-A.C.?? double or triple sharing??
3. Regarding the 3 preferences, I have given my preferences as follows:
1st Delhi
2nd Mumbai
3rd Bangalore
4. Any idea as to whether I can get my 1st preference i.e. Delhi (my hometown)?? Also is it true that posting will depend on Aspire assignments, Quizzes, Tests and PAT.
5. Another thing is that I’m from the field of biotechnology engineering? Would it be advisable for me to join TCS???
6. Also can the passport and pancard be provided to TCS sometime later in the middle of training? Can NSR Registry thing be done in the middle of the training??
7. Last but not the least, I want to confirm whether the answers provided for ASPIRE here are 100 % correct or bit of changes need to be made from our side n if so plzz provide me a link where I can get 100 % correct answers as I have no idea regarding subjects of IT.

1) I don’t know about ILP in Ahmedabad but I highly recommend that you join this Facebook group- https://www.facebook.com/groups/TCS.ILP.GUIDE/. There are lots of people you can interact with.
2) TCS will provide accommodation to you during your ILP. So you don’t need to worry.
3) About your preferences, I think you will get your first choice only. Other than that, you might get Mumbai also. It depends on the requirements and Mumbai has the highest. So, hopefully, you might expect Delhi only. Worst case, Mumbai. And your posting will NOT depend upon PAT or ASPIRE participation!
4) Since you have done Biotechnology Engineering, it might be difficult for you in TCS, as in ILP, you have to cope up with a lot of subjects in very less time. You might feel that you’re losing your mind, but I suggest that you study before you join ILP. It isn’t that difficult. If you are a quick learner, you’ll cope with it.
5) Passport is not a mandatory document but please apply for it if you want to go abroad on employment. Pancard is a very important document and you might face some problems but I think you’ll get extension. Please get it ASAP. As for NSR, after joining ILP, TCS provides NSR registration facilities. You can do it then.
6) As for ASPIRE assignments, I have done my best to collect and provide correct answers. The quizzes are compiled by my ILP batch when we studied ASPIRE. Also, you don’t need to worry as I suggest that you study a programming language very well (like JAVA/C++).

Regarding the accommodation I know tcs will be providing, but as I’m used to a single A.C. room, so will I be able to get any single A.C. room there n if not what type of rooms r generally available? are they A.C. or non A.C. , double or triple sharing?? 2. One more thing I want to ask is that will laptops be provided to us by tcs or we have to get our own??
I don’t think you’ll get a single AC room with TV except in a hotel. Hotel rooms provided by TCS are usually twin-sharing and will have basic furniture. During ILP, you have to stay in a place provided by TCS. You have no choice. You have to bring your own laptop and you cannot take laptops, CDs, pendrives or any other mass storage devices to office.
1. Okay, so are we allowed to stay in a hotel during ILP OR is it only allowed after we complete our ILP??
2. During ILP, what type of rooms are then provided?? are they (double OR triple sharing OR 4 people sharing a single room) with attached bathroom??
3. Besides documents, laptop and pendrive, is there anything else important that you would suggest to carry for our training??
4. How’s the salary increment in tcs??
5. When will tcs tell us to undergo that bond procedure?? n is it valid for 2 yrs. and is the fine Rs. 50,000 for breaking it??
1) TCS books hotels/ lodges so that its trainees can stay there during ILP. The fare will be deducted from your HRA. The rooms will be double-sharing. There will be no TV in rooms. Only bed, table-chair, cupboard. There will be an attached bathroom.
2) After ILP, you have to fix your own accommodation, in your base branch. TCS will not provide accommodation after ILP.
3) Besides documents, I suggest you take a few required books for studying, like JAVA, J2EE, UNIX.
4) Salary increment is not so great in TCS. It won’t reach 50,000 in 2 yrs. Your salary will be incremented according to your rating and performance in projects after ILP.
5) TCS bond is valid for 2 years. The Service Agreement that you’ll submit during ILP is the bond. I’ve heard that many people don’t pay the Rs. 50,000 bond..but that’s when they don’t want any experience certificate.

1) There is a document known as ‘ASPIRE QUIZZES WITH ANSWERS’. It has all the quizzes.
2) Everywhere the answers will be same if they are correct. I also did this research, so relax!
3) PAT will not necessarily have the same questions. It’s all about keeping your basics clear and you can answer any question.
4) You can submit the assignments any time before the due date. Once, I submitted it an hour late. It doesn’t matter. But try to be punctual.
5) Travel expenses for going to your ILP center has to be borne by you.
6) ILP center is solely decided by TCS and doesn’t depend on your preferences. So, TCS will provide accommodation during ILP.
7) TCS decides what course or stream you will get. You cannot choose. If you have a certification like SCJP (for Java) or something like that, you can mention that and can get that stream.
8) CID formality is only required for people having Present Address / Address of Longest Stay in the last 7 years / Permanent Address in Mumbai / Thane City / Thane Rural / Pune.
9) TCS sends you on-site (abroad) when you have to work from the client’s side. Freshers don’t go abroad. It takes more than a year/ two years to even get a chance. It depends upon the requirements in On-site and your performance.
10) During ILP, your shift can be morning (7am-1:45pm) or afternoon (2:15pm-9pm). Saturdays are usually off! After ILP, work hours for an employee is 10am-6pm. You might have to do overtime if the project requires time and effort. Night shift is also possible. You also might have to work on weekends if your project requires it. So, it all depends on what project you get.
Finally, I would like to say that you have to flexible. As a fresher, keep your expectations low and carry out the task given! 🙂
9. What is the criteria for going abroad through tcs ?? After what time period of joining do they send us abroad??
10. What are the working hours?? n do we have to work 5 days or 6 days a week??

Posting doesn’t depend on PAT. Just concentrate on performing well during your ILP!

1) I am from a grade B college. I got my joining date a year after the interview. Grade C colleges got their joining dates 6 months later. But that depends..you might get before that also.
2) If your joining letter and annexure is named as ‘JL_TECH’, you are in IT stream.
3) It is not true that only toppers get IT stream.
4) Career prospects are good if you are hardworking and a quick learner. But, I suggest that if you are a non-IT, you should also try for other companies according to the stream you are in.
5) Yes, no matter what stream you are in, getting a certification will fetch you the stream of your choice!

I’ve only a week to join for ILP training .. i have a few doubts can you please clarify… Is it mandatory that reference letters should be provided with BGC forms ? if yes can my uncle give reference for me ? I haven’t got any notification on accommodation details .. my recruitment office is chennai and my ILP training is at trivandrum.. i’ll be provided accommodation rite? will i be able to leave hostel to home for the weekends?
Reference letters aren’t necessary! They are usually needed for people who are recruited off-campus. Still, you can have a reference letter from your college’s principal, department HOD or Placement officer. If you haven’t received your accommodation details yet, call up your ILP coordinator in the phone number mentioned in your joining mail.

After installing WAMP server, go to the task-bar on the right. You will see an icon ‘W’. Go to PHP-Myadmin to create a database and tables named shopping_portal and you can also add users and allow special privileges to them. You can use the root user to assign a password for the users. I suggest that you visit http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/php/php.html and take a look at the tutorials so that you get the concept and try it on your own! 🙂

Kailas Nagar is in Kazhakootam (pronounced ‘Karakootam’), which is 10-15 minutes from Technopark, by bus! 🙂
I have a few queries:
1. On what date at the earliest can I get accommodation in hostel before 10th September ? By any
chance, is it possible to get hostel accommodation if I arrive on the 7th of September i.e. 3 days
prior to the commencement of the training?
2. The documents that we need to bring such as the birth certificate, mark sheets and degree, do

3. In ASPIRE Quizzes and tests, what is the ‘SAVE’ option at the bottom of every question used

1) You will get your accommodation details a week before joining. If you don’t get the mail, call up the ILP coordinator. You can check into the hostel 2 days before joining.
2) You have to bring originals of everything except surety’s original documents.
3) In Aspire, answer every question and save it.

I know that I’ll get mail from them 1 week before regarding accomodation, but I have to book my flight tickets now. My joining date is 10th September so can I come on 7th September??
yes..but after you reach there, you can ask the accommodation authority if you’ll be allowed to check in on 7th because TCS says that you can check in only 2 days before joining! Otherwise, you’ll have to spend the 7th in a hotel.
Zim… How much importance does a PAT carry? I am a non-CS candidate and selected for EIS (As mentioned in the list provided to our college), hence completed ASPIRE simply by collecting answers from net (got 100% though :-P) but damn sure that I wont be able to ans any question in PAT. So how much effect a very very low PAT score can have on an EIS candidate.. [ILP Chennai]
PAT score isn’t important, my friend! Please concentrate on performing well during your ILP. So, I recommend that you study/ take tuition for JAVA, Web Technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Basic UNIX in the few months before your joining! It’ll be of great help and it’ll not take much time if you are dedicated! 🙂
But at the time of recruitment they selected me in EIS catagory,, means they gave separate list of selected candidates for IT, ITIS and EIS…… But also heard that chennai does not hav an EIS ILP…. so do u think i can get EIS, and if yes do we still need IT knowledge in EIS?
As far as I know, EIS is an ISU. EIS is engineering industrial services..It has telecom, embedded system,mechanical and many other options. Here technical(mech/electrical) projects for clients like General motors,cummins,NISSAN motors, Tata Motors are done…..it has many verticals like aerospace , automotive, industrial machinery..It is good for people looking for CAD/ CAM CAE projects. Anyway, you’ll need basic IT knowledge like UNIX/C++ and also electronics!! Please read http://www.plm.automation.siemens.com to know about EIS 🙂 I suggest that you continue studying from Aspire. It’ll help you no matter what subjects you’ll have in ILP!

You cannot take your laptop to the office as you’ll be provided PCs there!! Keep it in your room. You need a laptop anyway for your work.

It’s better to bring your dongle. You’ll not get Internet facility in your accommodation and you can’t access half the sites in office!

I have made a mistake in the notary instead of putting the offer letter date i kept joining letter date .. Can i use an whitener and correct it?
Make a new one. The use of a whitener may not be allowed in all ILP centers. Don’t take the risk. Get a fresh one done carefully!

Hi reading ur posts clarifies lot of doubts for freshers. I am a non IT student and my ILP starts on 27 sep in chennai. I read the pdf file of java mentioned in ASPIRE portal nd took java quiz. I managed 2 answer just 4 questions correctly. I am really disappointed with my performance. plz suggest a good java book fr a non IT student
Hi Akshay, accommodation will be provided during ILP unless otherwise is mentioned in your joining letter. Carry on with Aspire and I have mentioned good books in my post, HEALTHY DOWNLOADS AND ASPIRE MATERIALS. Look under the Java section 🙂

You can only debug if you have the concept. We didn’t pay much importance to this project because it was all messed up and we had to submit it! You have to go through the tutorials and have knowledge of PHP before you even attempt to do this project. You might try to see what solution is given in Techforum. Various people have problems with this project. If you have time, you can learn PHP and start this as your own project. That will be much easier!
hi:) you had advised me to learn java and .NET till I start wit my ASPIRE , is it enough if I learn those by myself or getting a certification will be an added advantage???
Learn JAVA/ C++/ DOT NET (though I’ll suggest Java), web technology and basic UNIX from Aspire. Certification like SCJP is obviously better but go for it if you have time. You can join a good coaching center or tuition where they offer all these classes and tutorials! That’ll help you learn faster.
I don’t thing SCJP is available for me here 😦 and not even recognized coaching centers. right now I’m learning through some websites.
Best thing would to buy a few books, download the required software and start studying old-school style! 🙂

2) Don’t edit anything. So, no need to remove the numbers.
3) For page 6, print first two paras on stamp paper and the 6 clauses and witness page on demy/ A4 papers!
4. What is First phase of NSR ? NSR can be carried out later also but then I got an e-mail stating that in order to ensure hassle free joining you should have completed 1st phase of NSR!
What hassles will be there? I’m very worried!!! NSR is a long procedure and I haven’t completed 1st phase. Even if I start now for NSR, the delivery of card is after 20-30 days at my address. By that time I would have left for my ILP!!

1st phase of NSR is filling up the form online. 2nd phase is the biometric scanning. Don’t worry! You don’t need the hard copy immediately..They’ll send you an e-card. You can print and self-attest that too during your joining!

Usually, what is given by the University is final. Please talk to your University and see if it can be changed. If your University has nothing like that, get a written document from the University and keep it with you in case you have a problem! 🙂

You don’t need any reference! References are usually for DT (off campus) trainees. References can be college principal, Placement Officer, Stream HOD. You need to fill BGC form online after joining if you are a CT trainee.

I recommend that you go for the surety option as that’s easier, less confusing and most of all, hassle-free!! You just need a surety, which your father can be. You need attested copies of surety’s Income tax return for the current/previous year and his PAN card (with signature matching in the form as done in the PAN card). I assume that you won’t be leaving TCS before 2 years as half the time is wasted on bench. You need to be in TCS for 2 years to get the proper experience, unless you decide to leave the company before that!

Even my father is a retired person. It doesn’t matter! You can still get the current/ previous year’s IT returns! Talk to the Income tax department.

Where do you need Rs. 100 stamp papers other than Service Agreement and Non-Criminal Affidavit?
i do also have doubt regarding notarised undertaking which is a part of the proof for BCG verification….upto which page given in the format has to be typed in the 100 rupees stamp paper….can we use 2 50 rupees stamp papers???or its mandatory to use only 100 ruppee stamp…it has not mentioned clearly..

Check out your profile in Nextstep! Unless otherwise mentioned, your stream is supposed to be IT. Ours was JL_TECH or JL_ITIS, so that was easy.

such information will be given in the Nextstep profile! If you’re in some other stream, it will be mentioned! Passport is not a mandatory document!

I hav cleard all 8 semesters except for 4th sem (2nd yr) in which i gt an arrear. i hav also appeared for the back paper – result of which vl be available by mid novembr. For this reason i dnt hav my marksheets from 2nd yr onwards i.e i just hav 1st yr marksheet.
I also wnt be getting my provisional till i clear that arrear.
Iam placed in TCS and am waiting for DOJ. Wil this create any problem during joining?

Usually, candidates having back in a paper can’t appear for TCS interview. Since you are already placed and didn’t get your DOJ yet, it’s wise to get your semester marksheets within this time. You have plenty of time to collect the marksheets before you join! Just poke the University from time to time telling them that your company has given the DOJ!

Nothing is easy. It all depends on how much you can understand, past studies etc. If you are from CSE/IT background, none of the streams will be tough for you. If not, you have to dedicate some time to grasp the concepts. Mainframe is the toughest stream of all!

Only Peepul Park hostel is inside the campus. There’s also an executive hostel (both girls and boys) that is 10-15 minutes away! If these two are not available, you might get lodges to stay in. Only Peepul Park hostel doesn’t allow electronic devices (other than laptop and mobile charger), polythene and food inside rooms. Food items have a separate room! There’s also a baggage X-Ray! You have to be super careful if you get PP!!
my branch is EC….i havnt got my joining yet….since i am a EC student …i know C language well ….m little worries that how will i cope up with CS and IT students…..please suggest something to help me how should i prepare myself for TCS.
People from Non-CS background can perform well. You just have to be smart and open to learning! I suggest that you utilize the time that you have, follow the materials in ASPIRE, join a course/ tuition, learn another important programming language (like JAVA/ C++) and you’ll find yourself more or less equipped to face ILP! Look for centers where they give you a certificate at the end of the training and also train practically through small projects. If you have a year’s time or at least 8 months, this is also a good opportunity to get JAVA training and appear for SCJP exam for a certification. This will also get you JAVA stream during your ILP. Best of Luck! 🙂

Usually, you get your accommodation details a week before joining! And if accommodation would not have been provided, you would have got a mail mentioning that! It is true that if your posting is in the same place, you have to arrange your accommodation. But still, keep your hopes high! Even if you get Hyderabad, you can always ask for a transfer from your RMG after completing your ILP 🙂

The schedule is mentioned in Aspire! You have to study and take the quiz within the given time. Same goes for the assignments too! You can always study properly. Take it easy! 🙂

First, NOTHING depends on what you score in PAT! Aspire is provided so that you learn the mentioned subjects and cope up with ILP. Second, if no accommodation is provided, you’ll have to look for it! The location is mentioned in your mail!

The questions provided are samples from previous papers and also Aspire quizzes and assignments. You’ll be given a system and you can’t discuss or copy from others!

I think you can leave it blank if there’s no relation or call up the helpline and ask them. Your accommodation details will be provided 1 week earlier. I don’t think they provide accommodation for trainees in Kolkata. I’m not sure about that as they mention that if your posting is also in Kolkata.
hey, first of all thanks for helping everyone out here. My birth certificate has my surname missing but all other documents including PAN card and passport have my full name, so I was wondering if it would create a problem. I mailed TCS and they asked my to send them the scanned original documents which I did, but did not get a reply. It has been 2 days already. If I get an affidavit on a Rs.20 stamp paper done, then would they consider it as temporary arrangement and expect me to get my birth certificate corrected? I was born in a different city from where I live now, so it would be difficult to get it corrected too.

Get a notarized affidavit on a Rs. 20 stamp paper. But, TCS requires you to apply for a new birth certificate. So, you’ll have to get a new one anyone. The affidavit is only a temporary arrangement. The Municipal Corporation might help you out. Talk to them.

Now the problem is i still dont hav 2, 3, 4th marksheets and provisional….they are expected to come by November last……i did contact my placement department of college and they have given me a Bonafide letter (mentioning that i have successfully completed B.tech with —-CGPA and originals certificates will be arriving by Dec, 2012) and have attested all my semester results taken from internet….our TPO as assured that there will be no problem..
But somehow i dont feel safe….because i have read that ILP Trivandrum is very strict……is this true??

I think you should contact your ILP coordinator immediately and ask him/her personally! That’s the solution if you really want to feel safe! I understand your problem!

It’s probable that you’ll get Bangalore as your base location. Getting a transfer from Bangalore to Delhi is tough unless you have your/parents’ medical reasons, a swap partner from Delhi or project in Delhi through sources.

I’ve got only a week to join TCS. I’m little scared about PAT. I’m a non-CS student & I’m trying my level best to understand the concepts. I did ASPIRE but I ain’t that satisfied. How many courses are there in PAT exam? I’ve seen only JAVA, DBMS & UNIX papers related to PAT. Will the questions be more or less same? Are there any other previous PAT papers? I didn’t find many. How does PAT affect my ‘stream’? As in, on what basis am I allocated a particular stream? I’d be glad if you answer each & every question that I’ve mentioned. Awaiting a really early reply.

No, they just check your originals. They don’t have time to calculate the percentages for so many joinees! 🙂 After you submit, all these documents will just be in a cabinet.

TCS will allot you to a stream randomly. You can’t choose unless you have a certification.

It’s better if you can produce your original documents in any form. They usually check the originals in front of you. I didn’t find them calculating the percentages but they’ll record the percentage. That is, you’ll have to tell your marks to the person who’ll do the data entry.

I think your domain will be there in Nextstep. Otherwise, nowadays they don’t mention it in the JLs 😦 You can call up the ILP helpline and ask how you can see it. And non-IT students can cope up. You just need a lot of previous preparation, determination and the sincerity to learn 😀

I have some questions regarding ASPIRE:
1) Can you answer the courses in any order?
2) From where to study for ASPIRE course tests?
3)Will the test start once I click the launch button?
4) Can we take any amount of time we want to answer a course?
Everything in Aspire has a system and every module in it has deadlines. One course ends and the other course starts. Within the stipulated time, you have to answer the quiz or the quiz will get closed and you’ll lag behind. I think your session will get over if you take too much of time with one question. So, you have to be fast. Join some Facebook group/ online community where people solve different groups of Aspire together and post the answers. All of us did it that way! 😀

Just pressure your University to issue originals ASAP. Tell them your company is forcing you.

You have to finish your NSR, take the NSR e-card printout coz you have to submit the self-sttested copy during joining. For campus-recruited trainees (CT), background info has to be filled online after joining. The background check documents have to be submitted during joining. People from TCS will pay a visit to the address that you have provided to confirm your existence there! 🙂

Just send a mail to ilp.aspire@tcs.com and write your query in the body of the e-mail. In the subject line, write, “Unable to see assignment link on Aspire”. Do mention your CT reference no., date of joining and contact no.
How can i make a FD “assigned to TCS”??
Depositing the Rs. 50,000 is pretty complicated. Having a surety and filling up the surety verification form is much simpler, don’t you think? Any income tax payee can be a surety. Your father, friend’s father, relative, neighbour can be your surety. If you have a surety, no need to fill up Clause No. 3 in Service Agreement (don’t delete the clause).
If you still want to know about the deposition, you have to fill up Clause No. 3. You have to submit a Fixed Deposit Receipt to TCS. The fixed deposit should be in ANY of the following:
1) Joint account between TCS and you
2) In your name either assigned to TCS
3) Lieu noted in favour of TCS.
If you don’t have a surety, you will have to bring the fixed deposit slip! I suggest that you get someone to be your surety. All this will become less complicated.

That’s good. Follow ASPIRE and join that course. It will help you with JAVA, DBMS, J2EE, UNIX and all.
